*Update (06/29/2023) Hey, fellow Merrillville High School Class of 2015 alumni! Can you believe it's been almost 8 years since we graduated? Time flies! I hope you're all doing fantastic and enjoying life's adventures.
I am thrilled to share some incredible news with all of you. In just two short years, we'll be having our long-awaited Class of 2015 Reunion!
I can hardly contain my excitement about reconnecting with all of you and reminiscing about our unforgettable high school memories. It feels like just yesterday we were roaming the halls, attending football games, cheering each other on at the pep rallies, and staying up late to finish those challenging assignments.
Our reunion will be the perfect opportunity to catch up, share stories of our achievements and life experiences, and see how far we've come since our high school days. It's a chance to celebrate each other's successes, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones.
Share this post with anyone from our class whom you're still in touch with. The more, the merrier!
I can't wait to see all of your familiar faces, reminisce about the good old days, and create new memories together.
See you soon, Class of 2015! It's going to be epic!

*We hope to see everyone together in 4 more years.
*Update* (10/29/2019) Please keep the Maldonado family in your prayers! We love you and will miss you Armando J. Maldonado! Many of you may remember Armando. He lost his battle with leukemia over the weekend -- here is the information on the services:
Armando Julian Maldonado, 22, of Gary, IN, passed away Sunday October 27, 2019 after a courageous seven year battle with Leukemia. Armando was a graduate of Merrillville High School class of 2015.
In lieu of flowers, please donate, in Armando's name, to the Luekemia & Lymphoma Society, Bear Necessities, Make A Wish Foundation or the Andrew Weishar Foundation.
Visitation is Wednesday October 30, 4-7pm at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 31, 10:00am at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 Taft St, Merrillville, IN.
*Update* (05/09/2019) Graduates, congratulations on your well-deserved success! The inspirational stories about the undergraduate journey have molded you all into ambitious individuals excited to take the world by storm. For those who are still continuing with their academic journey, remain persistent and do not give up. Also, for those who are already young professionals striving towards their goals, stay encouraged and remain hopeful! Lastly, the young adults who are serving our country in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, we honor and thank you for your service. I hope you all find this excerpt from Former First Lady Michele Obama uplifting:
"I want our young people to know that they matter, that they belong. So don’t be afraid — you hear me, young people? Don’t be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be empowered. Empower yourselves with a good education, then get out there and use that education to build a country worthy of your boundless promise. Lead by example with hope, never fear. And know that I will be with you, rooting for you and working to support you for the rest of my life."
Blessings MHS Class of '15
*Update* (11/28/2018) High school class reunions are usually held 10 years following the commencement of that class and then in 5 year intervals. The Merrillville High School Class of 2015 Reunion will not be held until 2025. Planning and coordinating for the reunion will take place a few years prior to the reunion because of the large class size. However, none of the above information can prohibit anyone from planning a get-to-together for the classmates. In that situation, the funds, raised by the Class of 2015 during the years of high school will not be allocated to an event of that nature, only to the formal class reunion held in 2025.
*Update* (10/12/2017) The Class of 2015 sends out its prayers and condolences to the Maldonado family. We are greatly saddened by the loss of Ruben Maldonado. We all shared some amazing moments with you throughout your life. Thank you for being a loving friend, an outgoing classmate, and a strong fighter. Everyone please stay encouraged and remember to cherish every single moment we have to enjoy life. Though life may include some bumps and even potholes on our paths, remember that we are all fighters just like Ruben. Blessings to everyone!
*Update* (9/5/2016) The Merrillville High School Class of 2015 Reunion will take place in 2025. More details and information in regards to the location and activities will be decided upon at a later date.
*Update* (8/2/2016) Congratulations Class of 2015 for all of your accomplishments this past year. Whether it was through academic challenges in college, physical perseverance in military training sessions, or juggling multiple jobs, we salute you and pray the best upon your future endeavors! Stay blessed!
